Setup Guides

Learn the steps needed to set up and configure each device.

Current Reccomendation:

If using a Spore device/s with Hyphae:

1. provision Hyphae to your WiFi network.

2. from the configuration page, add spore device mDNS names.

3. from the configuration page, change the enabled mode from ‘off’ to ‘testing’.

4. You can proceed with setting up Spore device/s now, and come back after to complete Hyphae.

   • This allows the Spore devices to warmup and stabilize with the correct ambient pressure.

   • Be sure to follow the guide for Hyphae, but take into account these steps here to speed things along.

If using only a Spore device:

• You can write your own api for your own pressure sensor in the room following the approach of the Mycelium software.

• You can also use the Mycelium software and your own Open Weather Map API key to get your local weather which wont be as accurate but will follow the changes throughout the day.

• Set up the Mycelium software first then provision the Spore device.
