Setup Guides

Learn the steps needed to set up and configure each device.

Current Reccomendation:

If using a Spore device with Hyphae:

1. provision Hyphae to your WiFi network.

2. from the configuration page, add spore device mDNS names.

3. from the configuration page, change the enabled mode from ‘off’ to ‘testing’.

4. You can proceed with setting up Spore devices now, and come back after to complete Hyphae.

   • This allows the Spore devices to warmup and stabilize with the correct ambient pressure.

   • Be sure to follow the guide for Hyphae, but take into account these steps here to speed things along.

If only using Spore device:

• Be sure to get an accurate pressure reading during provisioning. Pressure throughout the day can shift every few hours. The API allows you to write your own code to send pressure to the device.
